Husqvarna Mower

Answers

where are safety switches other than under seat of Husqvarna mower, YTH180 , Model cv18s?

out on clutch or engaging blades kills motor.Checked switch under seat,it makes contact.

The clutch and blade all have switches. It does not matter that it makes contact, they are made now so that you can not defeat the seat switch. You can defeat it, you just can not shunt it as in older models.

Mowing with the Husqvarna lawn tractor!!

This is the VERY FIRST video of me mowing with my Husqvarna YTH23V48 lawn tractor. It has a 23 HP V-twin Briggs and Stratton. If someone could ...

Which is the better riding mower?Husqvarna or John Deere?Maybe Cub Cadet?Opinions anyone??

I am going to buy a new mower soon but cant decide on a brand name.I have looked at both JD and Husqvarna.

John Deere has a very good reputation but the Husqvarna looks to be built better and costs a hair bit less(in my opinion).Cost really isnt an issue, but which brand is better?

I havent really looked at Cub Cadet but is it worth the time to look at them?

All opinions or ideas welcome.
Thanks for all the good opinions everyone!! You are all correct so i will let this go for a vote.Thanks.

john deere

My Husqvarna riding mower is cutting Uneven...It's short on the outside and higher in the middle...why?

I just put a new housing on my mower and adjusted it but it is now cutting short on the outside of the blades and in the middle it is abit higher...what can the problem be? Each line i do there is a small strip in the middle of longer grass.......
I have a 38" cutting Deck...How can I even it out?

ONE of your blades is cutting low on one side, as you make another pass, it looks as if it is cutting low on both sides, if the blades are on flush, it will be a bent blade. Or the entire deck is tilted, that is easy to adjust.

On my Husqvarna YTH2448 riding mower, the secondary belt continually pops off. Any ideas?

I have replaced my belt so many times, it seems as though I've paid for the tractor twice. Is there any reason why the belt breaks and/or pops off so often? (Not the drive belt, but the one that operates the blades)

(Also...In the owner's manual, the illustrations showing where drive belts are situated needs redrawn. Would be more helpful if illustrations were drawn in such a way that each individual belt was drawn in separate panels. As is, it's very hard to distinguish where the belt goes.)

Either the bearings are worn out and the vibration is causing the belt to come off or the pulley is worn. You can get help for your problem at this forum.

Husqvarna self propelled mower problem?

2004 model 55c21HV mower wont let me pull it backwards. locked in forward gear all the time. Belt drive. I can't see anything wrong. Has anyone out there had the same problem?

Go to their web site, find a "contact us" block, give them the model number. Probably you will be able to download a user manual that will help. If not, e-mail them your specific question.

Husqvarna Panthera Leo Concept Mower is Electric-Powered and LCD ...

Growing up, I hated mowing the lawn. My backyard was huge, my allergies were bad and I was stuck with a temperamental push mower. If I had this battery-powered Husqvarna mower , however, I would have begged to do yard work.

The best part of this the Panthera Leo mower isn't the electric-powered design, or the recyclable materials it's made of. No, it's the LCD monitor and sensors, which work together to tell you what speed and height you should mow at, plus inform you when you're on too steep a hill or about to hit an object. And the mower lasts two hours on a single charge.

Jalopnik says Husqvarna plans to put something similar into production within five years (basically, forever). But seriously, I would have driven this thing to school every day if I had one. Trust me. Oh, and check out more pics over at [ Jalopnik ].
