Which is considered the highest cold cranking amp, 0 or 300? I am a single female and while this might seem obvious to most, it is not to me as I the sales staff doesn't know either. I don't know if it is one of those reverse situations were less is considered more. I have a snapper mower and it requires a high cold crank amperage.
To the best of my knowledge with all automotive batteries the higher the cold crank amps. the stronger cranking power. Lawn tractor batteries are just small auto batteries. So the higher the better. Hence 300 is definitely better than 0.
What to do with an extra lawn mower? Make a generator of course! I#39;ve owned the donor lawn mower since new, and the engine is in excellent ...
without anything blowing up ?
No you can`t . If your 6 volt battery doesn`t explode first, you will fry just about anything electrical on the mower. use a 6/12 volt battery charger and recharge or replace your 6 v0lt battery
If the lawnmower battery is fully charged and the car is in good tuneup condition you might get a start from it. Don't drag the starter if it starts to slow down when the battery gets weak. This overheats a starter and causes damage. If it doesn't spin fast from the get go stop and try another tactic.

im just wondering it would be cheaper
It wouldn't charge right and I would be scared to let a child ride in it. Fire hazard and acid leaks if it turned over as possibilities.
Yes you can but not more than around sixteen volts. But its only going to work for a short time before your starter burns up or your silenoid fails. I have the same problem with my mower. it will crank up cold just fine but when it heats up and i try to restart it. It feels like there is not enough power to turn it over. I changed the starter and the battery and still have the same problem.

Starters or defibrillator? It's something that happened to us, no matter how careful we are. This Leave the lights on when you park your car is sufficient to discharge the battery completely and leave it unable to start when returning. If you leave your car at the property or in the supermarket car park, a dead battery means the same thing – you get nowhere. Fortunately, most people are reasonable enough to have a set of jumper cables or a entry to jump in your car at any time, and this means that in circumstances where its battery is discharged, you can always get a load to get the engine running other driver.
In the simplest applications, a jump start works by attaching a backup battery in the electric starter on your car, and the use of Starter jump to the trigger load on the engine so you can start when the battery is completely discharged.

I used all 3 types of hedge trimmers, gas, 120 wired and wireless, and I must say, the convenience is great. Instant on with the push of a button is great. Plastics are a little ‘feel cheap, but it seems to do the job. I think it could be much better built, but the battery life is quite impressive, and the speed / torque of the trimmer is very impressive in a field grown / cured. He had some ‘issues to address immediately the one hand occupied the thick grass, but after going over it passed 2-3. . . Took care of him. The same place gave me problems, even with the corded 120 volt version of a bull, which was expected. The gas that had chewed through it easily, but it is a gas. . .
