2 Cycle Lawn Mower

Answers

how do you change a belt on a toro commercial 2 cycle lawn mower, and does the blade keeper just pop off?????

when you take the bottom bolt off and remove the blade you see a rectangle keeper does that pry off so i can access the pully

Simple answer, yes. You might want to use some kind of penetrating oil, and then tap it lightly. Remember, this is the crankshaft of the engine.

what happens if you put 2 cycle gasoline into a 4 cycles lawn mower?

It will not harm the engine you will experience some smoking it may become harder to start as the plug becomes fouled from the oil being burnt. If it was not much top off the tank on a regular basis reducing the ratio of oil and gas using fresh gas.

My son put 2 cycle motor oil in my lawn mower now it won't start?

It will start for a few seconds and then shuts off... is my mower trash now or can I fix this problem?

Drain the oil, and replace the spark plug. That should fix the problem.

I used 2 cycle oil in lawn mower with no gas mixed in!!?

I didn't know this was the wrong thing to do. I poured out the oil. What should I do now before adding SAE30 oil because my lawn mower won't start?
I put gas in where it goes and I put in the 2 cycle oil in the oil tank (no gas mixed in) of my LAWN mower. Now I poured out the 2 cycle oil so I can put the correct oil but I haven't put the oil in yet. I also replaced the spark plug.

Put the oil in and if it still won't start you might have burned up the motor with the 2 cycle. ( If you ran it with the 2 cycle in it )

I had a one gallon gas gan mixed for 2 cycle engine (mixed with oil). I put this in my 4 cycle lawn mower.?

Should I dump it out, or just use it? Thanks

Go ahead and use it won't hurt it possibly help lubricate things inside that don't normal get oil. It will smoke more and maybe foul out plug, plug would be cheaper than dumping gas these days.

Dixie Chopper launches World#39;s First CNG riding mower — Autoblog Green

Dixie Chopper looks to improve on the dismal realities of the exhaust-spewing riding lawn mower with its latest machine, the Xcaliber Eco-Eagle. The new mower is powered by a 990cc engine from Generac that's been tuned to run on compressed natural gas , which is both significantly cheaper and cleaner than gasoline. Why does it matter? Depending on where you live and the size of your home's plot of land, you very well may require a riding lawnmower. Here in Arizona, a riding mower would be completely superfluous, but in my home state of Ohio, where our house sat on more than six acres of property, it was essential to keep the green stuff at bay, and we likely used just as much gasoline cutting...

Looking for help with two older Lawn Boy lawn mowers ...

So, I was cleaning out the garage the other weekend and "found" two old Lawn Boy lawn mowers that we used to use. They have been just sitting there since 1997 when I bought a Toro Recycler 4 cycle mower to replace them. I couldn't bring myself to toss them out, but, at the time, they were both running like crap and I didn't have the time or patience to do anything with them. I would like to see if I could try to get them running again. First, I have a very old, mint green 1968 Lawn Boy 16:1 19 inch push mower that used to run great! I tried starting it the other day and to my surprise it started right away! The only trouble is, I can't get it to run any faster then a very slow idling...
