I've taken off the cover, and the next plastic piece which holds the gasoline top. I'm not sure where to go from there tho. I've heard that I may need to replace the spring but i'm not sure how to get to it. The wheel which would retract the cord spins (i've wond it with a screw driver). The part that covers the wheel seems to be held down by rivets or something that a screwdriver/allen wrench can't get to because it is a circle. If any one has any suggestions i would appreciate it. I do have pictures which i could send you of what i'm dealing with. Thanks
You are obviously already in over your head. Take the mower and all the parts to a quaified mechanic. Besides, fooling around with a rewind mechanism when you do not know exactly what you are doing can result in serious injury.

It's not allen key, these bolts hold the pulley in a lawn mower. Please advise what kind of tool should I use to open this guy up. Thanks.

I take the small engine repair school my 2nd Period. I do not know Jack engines (I know how they work and) basic things, but not enough to work. I bought a 5.25hp Briggs and Stratton lawn mower of a type not far from me for $ 10. He said he has the last time he had started. It is in excellent condition and if it fails, I'll fix the problem. I bought it for Spring Break down (fix if it breaks, which I doubt) for the reconstruction and put back together. I thought about my part to go shopping and easy to assemble the engine and ride in the area this summer after the course. I realized after reading go around the car for a bit I caught a 4stroke VERTICAL crankshaft. I can not do it in your handNow, do everything to nothing. It was a race 2 as I could, but it is a 4stroke I can not. Any tips on how to meet? I know you can do, but do not know how. Some good books on the shopping list under / steering / brakes? All components go to a car. I try to know to take when a welding course so that they can only sacrifice one's own body. But then I need the gas and brake pedals, tires collect (easy to hear about Craigslist? Collumn Lol) and a slice. I can buy (I have two jobs), but I prefer to get down and dirty and build itself.
