GAS
With key turn starting, there truly is no reason to go electric. If you go Honda you will be fine with a pull start (just avoid Briggs and stratton if you are someone that has difficulty wit a pull start). And get power driven wheels. WORTH the money, they pull the mower and all the grass in the bag.
I suggest at least 5 HP, more is better.
This is my rechargeable lawn mower . I charge it using solar panels I bought from Harbor Freight . I#39;m making an attempt to rid myself from ...
I've never used one before and it has a pull string, which looks like what I would use to turn it on, but I tried and wasn't able to get it going...and then I would have no idea how to get it off again...
there will be a little lever to turn on the fuel. turn that then pull cord. there should be a button to turn it off but when you've finished using it turn fuel off and let it run out. that's the best way.

We put baking soda on it and now we're gonna put cat litter on it. But what should we do cause the whole house smells?
Open the windows and run fans, it's really all you can do to get rid of the smell.
Our garage is attached and our lawn mower leaked-the house smelled for 3 days. I did spray 'Oust' in the air, that seemed to help a little.
Opening the windows and running fans is really all that works.

Okay, I accidently poured the mixed gasoline and oil combo (used for weed eaters) into the lawn mowers gasoline tank. The lawn mower already had half a tank of good gasoline. The mower ran fine but did not know I did this unti lafter the fact later in the day. What should I do?? Please help. If I have to drain the gas...how should this be done. Thanks.
Each lawnmower has an instruction book which should cover the subject of emptying a gas tank. You could use a siphon hose to extract the contents of a tank into a clean pail. Then start the mower and burn off any fuel still in the system. Now refill your mower with clean fuel. The fuel which you drained can be mixed with oil . You will have enough to feed your weed whacker for a while.
Some auto repair shops have spent oil and other petroleum products picked up by a recycling service. Check the place that you get your oil changed.

Dixie Chopper launches World#39;s First CNG riding mower — Autoblog Green
Dixie Chopper looks to improve on the dismal realities of the exhaust-spewing riding lawn mower with its latest machine, the Xcaliber Eco-Eagle. The new mower is powered by a 990cc engine from Generac that's been tuned to run on compressed natural gas , which is both significantly cheaper and cleaner than gasoline. Why does it matter? Depending on where you live and the size of your home's plot of land, you very well may require a riding lawnmower. Here in Arizona, a riding mower would be completely superfluous, but in my home state of Ohio, where our house sat on more than six acres of property, it was essential to keep the green stuff at bay, and we likely used just as much gasoline cutting...
