I'm looking for a cordless electric lawnmower no more than $400. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a Neuton mower. It's small but works well. They have come out with a larger model then the one I have. It's quite, needs no gas or tune ups all you need to do it always keep the battery charging all the time. I think the web site is like neuton mowers.com

I am a retired college teaching professor, who has taken over raking leaves. Now want to go to cutting grass on lawn. The lawn is straight and small in front. In the back there really is not much grass. The lawn is more the crabgrass type. Even with the greatest of efforts, it will not get that "golf green" lawn look.

I am not interested in a riding lawn mower. Have talked to a couple of people. It looks like a push lawn mower with a bag is the way for me to go. Someone mentioned having one in which you do not have adjust the wheels.

Am concerned about what would be best to buy, where. Safety is also a major concern on how to adjust the blades, and any other matters should know about.

Tired of walking and thought practical exercise would be good. The mower would pay for itself soon.

Any suggestions about operating and buying a motorized push lawn mower would be greatly appreciated.

As long as I can remember my family has always used a Briggs & Stratton lawn mower. Our lawn has always looked picture perfect!!!

Have time on my hands, and see no reason to pay the overly high price people charge for yard work.

I have a straight lawn, no golf green type look, main grasss in front and only a little in the back. Don't want expense of riding lawn mower. Want to get one easy to work. For some strange reason when young my father did not want my brother and I to mow the yard, he didn't either?????????????????

So am starting from scratch, but this is not rocket science. A friend warned me about not getting one that you have change each wheel for lever. Basics on buying and doing appreciated, such as dumping grass, maintaining, basically what need to do.

In addition, where to buy and about how much to pay is also a question.

Any thoughts much appreicated.

Go to Sears. The people that work there are very helpful and can tell you what type of mower you should get according to how big of a yard you have and if you just want a mower or a mulcher/mower combo.

I have a small yard & have a hard time to cut my yard with a regular lawn mower, I have hired lawn care services to cut my grass and they won't returned back, my grass is pretty green an it is real thick. I have trouble walking so I am looking for the smalles riding lawn mower.

Just purchased a riding lawn mower. Have wanted one of those babies for quite some time and I scrimped and saved for 2 years in order to purchase it. I have a medium sized yard and the walk behind was getting real old.

Now my neighbors are complaining that it is too loud and they want to ban it from the neighborhood. They sent a petition around and even our good friends signed it. They all have electric mowers and said that mine is an abdomination. They've accused me of not being "green." Since when are lawn mowers not green?

Since the global warming crisis began. If I were you, I would be sure to mow your lawn at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday mornings. JK. But seriously, you must live in one of the coastal states or in a very liberal neighborhood. Your neighbors sound like self-righteous jerks. You have my sympathy.
