It was in front of my lawn and I when inside for about 2 hours. When I came back it was gone. I just bought a little weed eating lawn mower for about $40, it runs well but the owner admitted that he made it from a few lawn mowers. I reported it to the police and have a report number. Thanks for all non-spam answers.
Oh sorry, my question is, how should I go about getting it found, and what mower should I buy. Also this is a warning to anybody reading as well.

I have a little over/under 3,000 dollar budget. I would like a deck width of atleast 34'' and up to 42''. I know the toro at home depot is a good buy and is ranked high by consumer reports. Is there any dixon, exmark, hustlers, etc for under 3,000? Also does anyone know a website for used zero turn lawn mowers besides craigslist and ebay?

I've seen John deere zero turns for 2999 at Lowes. I personally would never buy a John Deere but for a small budget they are a good buy.

This is a 2001 Murray Riding Mower w/ a Briggs & Stratton engine. Since it is between the first and last recalls for the exact same problem, Murray and B&S says it's my problem. I can't afford to buy another mower. I have submitted this to Consumer Reports but they say there is nothing they can do. SO....can anyone help me seal this gasoline leak so I don't go up in flames?

Seal the leak with SealAll (hardware store) while you wait for your new tank to show up.
Nice thing is you can use just about any generic fuel tank and it would not ruin the resale value of a Murray.

P.s. Consumer Reports will not doing anything but the Better Business Bureau would be your better bet.

I am looking for the average price of a Craftsman Riding Mower -1975- current, Craftsman Walk-Behind Mower 1975-current, and a Craftsman Weed Eater 1975- current, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find this information? My next-door neighbors take their 2-year old son on the riding mower with them every time they mow the lawn. I see this as very dangerous, as they hold him with one arm and steer and control speed with the other. When they do it I cringe. Should I video tape or photograph and send it to child services? Or do I just mind my own business???

Other than worrying about long-term damage to they kids hearing, I don't think there is anything to worry about.

The blades should have guards on them and even if the kids falls off, chances are they won't get cut by the blade (still possible but not too likely).

I wouldn't go as far as to tell you to mind your own business, but I just don't think this is something to worry too much over.

It is always good to watch out for the well-being of the neighborhood kids. It is a fine line between concern and being the pain in the a** of the neighborhood. However, if something really concerns you, call it in.
