I am looking for a lawn mower blade balancing tool. Not sure of the name or were to get one.
they sell a simple one at many hardware and building supply places like home depot. Its just a short cone to balance the blade on.
you can do a rough version by putting a big nail into a wall, the blade should balance on it , if one side moves down you remove a bit more from it.

I looked at the underneath side of my lawnmower to see what was needed to do an oil change.I have a square headed oil bolt.I never seen anything like this.What tool doe's this oil bolt take?
if it's a square recess, a ratchet with an extension (no socket) will remove it. You just have to make sure to use the correct size (usually 1/2" drive). if it's a square headed bolt, use an open end wrench or crescent wrench. Hope this helps.
Do I just break the rivets off and replace them when I put the assembly back together? If so, is there an easy way to do this, and where can I get the replacement rivets?
I would just drill the holes out and replace the rivets with some new ones.

One does not adjust the blade on a mower. You adjust the height of the wheels. There should be levers that you push in to unlock the brackets and that will allow you to move the deck up and down as desired.
