McLane (Lawn Mower) oil change - how many quart ? 1 qt?

Hi
I have a Mclane Reel 7 blades Lawn Mower. It has a 3.5 Briggs engine. It never change oil since day one. I am thinking give it a oil changes but for how many quart.
I am thinking one quart or measure it by draining the oil.
If you know, I don't have to go through the mess.

Opps. It was a 2.0 HP and I cannot found the drain plug easily. It seems like I have to take off the engine, is this true....
way to much work to change a lawn ef="/Lawn-Mower/Lawn-Mower-Parts/">mower oil.
does it matter anyway after almost 10 years of old oil?

dont take off the engine...remove the oil fill cover and tip the mower on its side and drain the oil. to refill , add a little oil at a time until you get the right reading on your dip stick...

First for a frame of reference, I like and prefer the manicured appearance that only a reel mower can provide, and I have the Brill Lexus battery powered, made in Germany, which I have been using for several years. The Brill is good to excellent in its construction, but it lacks the power to cut through very thick grass when its mechanical bypass device kicks in and the reel stops turning as the mower makes a raucously loud and annoying ratcheting sound.
