I need to order parts for this mower, but can't find the original model number for this thing. I know MTD makes parts for it, but I need the TMO 3. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a MTD riding mower with auto trans. When the mower is in forward it stutters almost like stop and go and doesn't go forward smoothly. Although in reverse is goes very very smooth. I tuned up the motor and replaced all the belts and blades. I'm guessing it may be the forward gear on on the trans? Anyone have an idea what else it may be? And/Or where I can find parts to fix the trans? It has a 17HP V-twin Briggs and Stratton btw. Thanks.
Also how much would something like this cost? Like a ballpark fig. Thanks.
Check the trans fluid level in trans. Most only hold 10 12 oz.

The Lawn mower is a Lowes mower but i know it was made by MTD because all the MTD parts are identical to this one. Im trying to make it go fast. It has a 14.5 hp Briggs with OHV and im going to put striaght pipes on it. Im pretty sure the motor can make enough torque to withstand a small pulley. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to put brakes in a mower?
actually i wrote 14.5 hp, my motor is only 14 hp
Tractor Supply has pulleys, forget what section they are in, but it is not the mower section
does MTD make any part on the John Deere lawn mowers.
if so why does it not say so on john deeres but it does an all other machines
yes- mtd makes john deere lawn mowers- they make 70% of all riding mowers- " yard man" is exactly the same as john deere except paint color- made by mtd also
