have a 2007 yardman lawn mower model 12A-26MBO55 will not start does not have primer bulb on side of carb. has actual choke lever tried starting with choke open and closed will not start but will start if you spay starting fluid down carb throat and stay running so fuel line or tank isn't the problem and tank has fresh gas so no water in tank engine is the new mtd
The tube that the choking mixture should come from is clogged. There is a small brass tube in the carb venturi behind the choke plate, sticking up vertically, clean the bore of that tube.
