We have a 25 hp 46" Scotts lawn mower. It is a Briggs and Stratton engine. The numbers on the engine are YBSXS.7242HK 274559.

According to Briggs and Stratton, you would use 48 oz. checking your dipstick frequently. It you change the oil filter, fill the oil to the fill mark, then run the engine, then shut it off and let it sit for a few minutes and check the dipstick again and fill as needed.
Took the muffler off because I was bored.

A good quality mower will have a decal somewhere on it for belt installation. Look around there should be one. Some are under the foot rests.
Need to find a replacement tire for lawn mower. Cannot locate Scotts home page, do they go by another?

I just bought a broken scotts lawn mower and i replaced the primer because there was a hole in it. It didnt have a air filter so i bought one. i cleaned out the carborator because it was messed up. it starts but runs for 2 seconds unless you keep pressing the primer then it goes for a while but it doesnt want to start. I need help. let me know whats wrong.
You need to clean and rebuild the carburetor. It needs to be taken apart and soaked in a good cleaner and put together with a rebuild kit. You can get the kit at most any small engine shop for about $15.00.

look up the mower on scott of murray web site, but there should be a diagram on the deck toi show how to replace it, just be sure to readjust the bolts back tight and deck straight when finished getting the new belt on they arer not hard to replace and most belts can be bought at a local hardware store also, it is simply readjusting the deck so it dont throw the new belt off and burn it up as sooin as you start the mower

Dudicles! I love your show (the highlight of my week) but you’re getting sloppy. In your earlier shows, you made a point to “watch bad movies so we don’t have to” but that isn’t the case anymore. In previous shows, you gave so much info about the movie (the plot or lack thereof, spoilers and lots and lots of soundclips) that after listening to your show, I was indeed convinced that I had actually watched the movie. Now I kinda feel like I need to see the thing to understand the inside jokes – and who wants to do that? I love the banter of you guys but you tend to go off on subjects unrelated to the movie too. Don’t get me wrong though, I LOVE this show, it just isn’t as good as it used to be…weeks ago. Really would like to hear more sound clips. Thanks guys!

This is a wonderful machine! Assembly took less than 5 minutes from the carton. It took only 2 screws and 4 nuts fully assembled....
