To answer your question, I need a little more info. What model, and about how old. Different models and different years use different transmissions and hence different hydro dump levers. The model # would be great. It usually starts with 169 and has 4 numbers after it. (i.e. 169xxxx)
When I try to start my 16 hp kohler engine in my simplicty lawn mower it makes a click sound and does not turn over. I replaced battery and still nothing. What is wrong?
Make sure your battery cable ends are clean . Make sure all connections to the battery and starter are clean and tight. If they are and it still will not start, then most likely you have a bad starter
