I have not had any problems with the mower in the year I have had it. I originally bought it because I was tired of smelling like gas and I was growing a little concerned with the pollution of a gas mower (noise and air...I have poor hearing already and a typical mower was too loud). This mower is great for those reasons. Plus, since the grass is cut and not beat, I have not problems with my grass allergies. I would normally have a running nose when I finished with a grass mower. Now I have a dry nose, I don't smell like grass, and I don't smell like gas.
