Have you looked under the hood or foot rests. Some manufactors put diagrams on the machines. Some have decals on the mower deck for the deck belt.

MTD riding lawn mower

A quot;Ranch Kingquot; by MTD, if I#39;m not mistaken. It#39;s a little old made in 1994, but it still works great. engin: 12 horse brigs ...

Have a MTD Yard Machine 38" riding lawn mower with flat front tire and no valve stem.?

How do I get air in or do I have to buy anew tire and rim with air all ready in.

Normally those are tubeless tires, but if the tire was being a problem, someone may have put in a tube. If the tubes get low on air and you don't catch it, the tube can spin, pulling the valve stem with it.

The other possiblility is that it does not have a tube, but the valve stem just broke off, and the backside of it is floating around in your tire somewhere.

Check both sides of the rim, you should find either a valve stem, or the hole once occupied by it. If you find just a hole, your going to have to dismount the tire no matter what you do, but I would recommend putting in a tube if there isn't one already in there.

I need a wiring diagram for starter solenoid on a Murray 11hp 38 in cut riding lawn mower.?

It has the large red cable from the battery that goes on one of the solenoid post, on the other side it has a large red cable, a small red wire, that I am assuming goes on the opposite post going forward to ignition switch. It also has a yellow wire that goes to the seat safety switch. Does this one go to ground? It has a small black wire that has its own clip and it is obvious where it goes. I need to know where the battery cable goes to start and where to go from there. Any help anyone can give is appreciated! Thanks

OK here we go. the only difference from any other car or tractor is the switch under the seat for safety.

there should be a large wire from the battery and this is a switch so the other side is a large wire to the starter.

the 2 smaller wires are for the key..
one is a small one coming from the key this tels the solenoid to close and start the motor.
this wont work unless you are siting in the seat and connecting the other small wire to ground.

Yard Machine riding lawn mower?

My yard machine blade will not engage (38" Blade cut, 125 HP) it starts up, everything else appears in working order. I think it may be a belt or spring, because when i engage the lever there is no tention, as if a spring or belt is worn or broken. Would this be an easy fix job? I don't have mechanic experence? Does anyone know of any sites that would take me thru step by step on what i need to do to fix it or can anyone tell me how to fix it

125 hp? or 12.5 h.p.
give make and model number, so someone can maybe help ya.

Guide To Understand When Picking the Very Best Quality yard Riding ...

A wide deck won't save you any time if you'll need to go back with a push mower between all your trees. Riding mowers can come with engines in the front or in the back. Models with rear engines will generally have better front visibility while you'll have more power with a front engine models. There are a few kinds of controls that are utilised by riding lawn mowers.

The options available are a gear lever and clutch brake combo, foot pedal controls, and the more sophisticated hydrostatic drive. Hydrostatic drive models will give you a smoother ride but tend to be much costlier. Judge whether youwill be bagging, mulching or tossing the clippings that the riding mower produces. Test to see if you can easily switch between modes and if you need to buy extra accessories. Itis a brilliant idea to test several riding lawn mowers before you purchase one. Some things to take note of are how simply it steers and brakes, the degree of the turning radius, whether you are comfy, and the ease of which you can adjust the cutting height.
