I have a 20hp v-twin ride on lawn mower and i wanted to know if i am a loud to haul things around the city with it.
if its registerd yes no worries, if not rego'd then no worries as long as has lights
I have a Cub Cadet Rider and it's about 2 years old. Also, can you use ethanol gas in a push lawn mower?
The engine should run fine on up to 15% ethanol (E85). However....all of our small engine vendors have told us that over time the flexible rubber and plastic seals throughout the engine will become brittle and hard from using ethanol. Eventually the engine will be damaged and need to be overhauled. Those small engines weren't designed with ethanol in mind unlike the larger engines found in cars and trucks.

Sorry. I disagree. It depends on the machine. I bought a 1969 John Deere with a 10hp Kolher engine. It was, and still is, well maintained and it works better and has fewer problems than my 5 year old Craftsman which seems to need some type of repair every year. I paid $500 for the JD and $1200 for the Craftsman with a Briggs & Stratton engine. The B&S is not known for its long life, so see what type of engine it has. If it's a Briggs or Tecumseh, offer less. If its a Kohler, Onan, or Honda, it's worth more. If I had to choose between my 2 mowers, without a doubt it would be the 40 year old JD. Old does not necessarily mean junk.
The mower is an Ariens 1986, 8hp. Pull start ride on lawn mower. All original and in excellent condition. Looks and runs like it is only 2 months old. Trying to see if it has any value.

You need to look at the newspaper for a used one i don't think you can get a new one for that price check out e bay and Craig's list

If you’re like most car guys then you’ll appreciate this piece. As car guys I’ve always found that our love runs deep and it’s not just for automobiles. Take these nice people down in the great state of Texas for example. They like cars, but they LOVE lawn mowers, so much so that they race them almost every weekend. It may seem odd at first, but once you dissect it a bit it seems perfectly normal. You’ve got your engine up front, 4 wheels and a nice cushy seat for your tookus. You’re out side in the open air with the wind in your hair and the bugs in your teeth… it’s awesome.
