I have a Craftsman riding lawn mower. The tire is completely flat and partially off the rim.
Take the dust cap off with a pair of pliers, take the c clip out with a flat head and jack it up a little to slide it off.... when you install it, spray a little bit of penetrating oil (pbblaster's good!) if it stuck a little.... they can and will rust in place!!
starts, runs, drive, cuts great. i have the rear bags just didnt put them on in this video
i'v had it for 10 years somone gave it to me when they moved it's a 1950 or older and it works i thought maybe it is worth something? it's all orignal parts n yellow>>>>..

Depending on what type you have you either remove the lug nuts (like on a car)
or there is a round clip on the axle. Look at the center of the wheel and look for a ring that sits in a groove;(this could be hidden behind a center cap) this ring will have a break in it where you use a small flat screwdriver to gently twist, pry it off, out of the grove it sits in. Then just remove the washers.
Watch out sometimes that can pop off and hit you in the eye.
Last resort is that it could have a bolt holding it on which you may have to pop the center cover off to expose the bolt.
This is for a push mower, not a riding mower. Something about the threads being different? Anyway, help please.
First thing to do is to remove the wire from the spark plug. Better safe than sorry. Some wheels have a bolt that goes all the way through the housing and a nut to go on the other side. You'll just have to see what kind of situation you have, and look at the other answers you get. Good luck.
I have a Craftsman riding lawn mower, and for some reason the wheels just stopped spinning. I pulled it out of my garage, refueled, re-oiled, and started up the engine. The engine started fine, but no matter what speed I selected the mower wouldn't move. The parking break was disengaged, all the belts were still attached, and everything seemed to be in order. It just wouldn't move.
on one of the back wheels there is a key way that turns the wheel if might have broken
