Where is the carburator located on my lawn mower?

I have a Toro push lawn mower. The engine is a Briggs and Stratton. How do I locate the carburator and clean it?

The carborator is at the end of the fuel line comming from the gas tank.If you don't know that mabe you should rethink the dissasembly and cleaning of such.Try pouring some injector cleaner in to the gas it might help.

push lawn mower engine iddle very fast

have a toro 7hp,OHV push mower, start fine but the engine runs very, very fast and continue to run fast, can find a place on the engine to adjust.i am afraid to use it like that because it may overheat and blow

any idea? thanks
not just fast,as regular fast.is like if you have an engine that on normal speed it will run 200rpm,well this engine is out of normal.

The newer mowers don't have a throttle and are factory set when made.So don't try it sounds fast so it can cut heavy grass. It won't "blow"

Lawn Mowers - Toro or John Deer?

I just closed on a new home on Friday that sits on a 1/2 acre.

I want to get a push mower - and out of all the lawn mowers at Home Depot and Lowes, i'm stuck between trying to decide on a Toro or John Deer.

Anyone have any suggestions as to which one to by, and even a possible model number?

Also - would you suggest a push mower over a riding zero degree lawn mower? I really think those are cool - but not sure if it's too much for a 1/2 acre yard.

Thanks!

The model would depend on how healthy you are. If you're young, then a pushmower, if you're older you might want the riding mower.

How about a self propelled model, that makes it easy to push or really guide. Either one of the manufacturers should be good, they have both been around for an age and are known for their products. Between the 2, I would probably go with the Deere, just because I like the green over the red.

The Best Push Lawn Mower For the Environment?

When it comes to push mowers, you have a few basic options. First there is the standard gas push mower, then there are self-propelled mowers, various kinds of electrical mowers (including ones with and without cords), and finally the classic, the reel mower. You may not recognize the name, but chances are you would know one when you saw it. The reel mower may be the mower of your grandfather’s generation, but it’s making a comeback!

Simply put, push mowers are pretty much an environmentalist dream mower. There is no motor so there is no noise or emissions to worry about. Push mowers don’t have a battery to discard and the only maintenance is sharpening the blades.
